dessert

i think that it is quite hard to get hold of kosher food in britan but if you own a bussens and you are jewish then it will not be to hard to gte hold of but for others yes because we can just walk up the road and get anything but kosher rules are very strict so yes there will not be that much kosher food in britan.

i think that there should be more kosher food in supermarkets. and we should have diffrent isles in them such as our food and then in a other one so we have a mixture of food types in our supermarkets.

i think it would be very difficult to follow the kosher laws because there is so many laws you have to follow.

i dont think it is necessary to follow all the jewish laws because some of them like eating an insect s quite rediculas who would want to eat a whole insect it reallt weird. and i wouldnt follow the jewish laws becuse there to many of them and could not cope with it.

MAIN COURSE

people get there kosher food from all over now it just more exspensive than our normal food:

many peopel follow these rules more strictley to others because, they are inforses by inspectors that work for the bbeth din, the beth din is a house of law for jewish people.

Kosher food is food that meets with the jewish laws.
The word kosher is not only used for food. Kosher basically means that something follows all the Jewish legal guidelines.

the types food:

Fish and meat cannot be served together.
Milk and meat cannot be served together. Rabbinic law includes poultry in this prohibition, however fish is excluded. This gives rise to the popular, and kosher, bagel, lox, and cream cheese combination.
Processed food must be prepared in the presence of a rabbi.
Poultry and meat must be slaughtered under strict guidelines called "shechita." This means the animals are slaughtered without pain.
Only those who are trained and qualified are allowed to slaughter kosher animals.
Once the animal is no longer alive, another team of experts will examine the animal to be sure the animal is without illness, abnormalities or anything else that can be considered unsanitary. The lungs in particular must be pure. In addition, all blood, nerves, and most fat must be removed.
